Sudanese and Eritrean Ministries of Agriculture and Irrigation have signed an agreement on bilateral cooperation in agriculture and animal wealth. Sudan’s Minister of Agriculture, Ismail Al-Muta’afi signed for Sudan, and Arefayne Berhe signed for Eritrea.
For his part, Muta’afi stressed cooperation between the countries in transferring information and research and exchanging expertise, training and investment.
The Eritrean agricultural minister thanked the Sudanese government represented by the Ministry of Agriculture. He underlined the need to maintain cooperation in the aforementioned areas.
